Description

I am currently Professor in Phonetics at the Department of Linguistics, Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden. Previously, I was a researcher in the Speech group at the Department of Speech, Music and Hearing at KTH in Stockholm. I received my Ph.D. in Phonetics from Umeå University (2002) and was a postdoc at TeliaSonera Sweden (2005).

My main interest is interactional aspects of spoken face-to-face communication. My work aims to combine linguistic knowledge with speech technology to describe and model interactional behaviour, and in use such models for generation and understanding of interactional behavior in speech technology.
