The dissertation aims to critically review, systematize and analyze International Criminal Law with regards to the treatment of Sexual Violence against Children. The rules and the application thereof, in e.g. the ad hoc tribunals and the ICC, will subsequently be linked to the role of holding leaders accountable in combating sexual violence against children. A central part of the dissertation will hence be allocated to the Doctrine of Superior Responsibility.
