Palula [phl] is an under-described language belonging to the disputed "Dardic" subgroup of Indo-Aryan, spoken by appr 10,000 people, in the Pakistan-Afghanistan borderland. I have already conducted a few periods of field studies in the Palula community, the primary result of which is my dissertation grammar. Continued research and documentation include the preparation of a collection of interlinearized Palula texts, consisting mainly of local history and oral tradition, and a Palula vocabulary/dictionary to go along with my grammatical description.
