Arvid Lindh obtained his PhD from Umeå University in 2014. Since September 2016, he is a Researcher at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI).

His main research interests are in political and economic sociology. Much of his current research is about incorporating trust and attitudes towards the market into country-comparative research on economic inequality, class, redistribution, and the welfare state.
